Interweaving: a five-day educational gathering of people striving for a more just world took place

22.9.2025 At the end of August, we organized Interweaving – a five-day educational gathering of people striving for a more just world. Over a hundred people attended from all over the country, representing more than 30 different organizations, collectives, unions, and groups. The aim of the meeting was to meet and get to know each other across cities, towns, and groups dedicated to issues of climate protection, affordable housing, social justice, feminism, the fight for workers' rights, digital security and more. We wanted to create a space to learn together, devise collaborations and strategies on how to be stronger in times of rising far-right extremism. But also to have fun, relax, move our bodies, and create something with our hands. The venue for Proplétání was provided by a social cooperative Volavka na Pomezí, which provides affordable rental housing and space for activist groups to meet, plan, and relax.

Tenants Organising for Just Renovations - online skillshares

25.2.2025 All around Europe people are facing an unprecedented housing crisis. The rents are rising while the quality of housing is decaying. People already witness and feel the climate crisis, often living in apartments that are too hot for the first half of the year and too cold for the second. Heating and cooling of our homes constitutes a major part of overall energy consumption - it is pricey and it fastens the climate collapse, as most of the energy used still comes from burning fossil fuels. Mass scale energy efficient renovations are needed, but they often lead to rent increase and tenants losing their homes.

Walking the Path Less Travelled: Collective Steps Towards a Culturally Sensitive Education in the Context of Socio-Ecological Transformation

2.12.2022 – PDF – 4.05MB The anthology Walking the Path Less Travelled presents a selection of texts by educators from the Czech Republic, Poland and Germany on culturally sensitive education about the transformation of the world. In the form of essays, short reflections, interviews or practical methodological and other tools, the publication opens up topics such as degrowth in Central and Eastern Europe, language and greenwashing, emotions in education or leaving the seminar room in non-formal education. Barbora Adamková and Jakub Mácha contributed to the publication on behalf of Re-set with a paper on safe and brave learning spaces. The publication was produced in collaboration with the Ecumenical Academy, Kreisau-Initiative (DE) and Fundacja Krzyżowa (PL) within the Erasmus+ Partnership for transnational ESD and Degrowth education project.
