- Preparation of meetings - facilitation - feedback
Pleasant and at the same time efficient meetings are the key for successful actions and campaigns. How to prepare these meetings? How to lead them in a way everyone is involved? We can teach you these skills in a workshop, consult the preparation or co-faciltate a meeting with you. We can provide or help arrange external facilitation. In this field of work we also recommend our friends from the Facilitation crew, operating under the organisation NaZemi. THey can help you with facilitation and give workshops on leading reflections and giving feedback (facilitace@nazemi.cz).
- Getting organised - structures - processes
If we want to build movements from the bottom up that are able to create a better world for all of us, then we have to know how to get organised! Whether it is the fight for climate justice, better working conditions or gender equality - it either stands or falls on our abilities to communicate together and create functional structures for our groups. We want to support already existing and freshly formed collectives and groups with workshops in areas of community organising, group cooperation, recruitment and retention of new members or in setting up of internal processes and decision making.
- Theory of change - strategy - campaigns
You want to change things for the better. But where to start? With the help of proven tools from the history of social movements, we will help you ask the right questions and search for the answers. From the theory of social change and searching our role in the process, through power mapping and allies mapping to strategic planning of specific campaigns and projects. We can also add tips and tricks on how to organise an action from A to Z.
We offer consultations and workshops of communication in the traditional media and also on social networks, building of a campaign narrative or trainings for spokespeople. As a climate justice movement, we are searching for stories that have the power to change the system. We want to learn from each other on how to create communication that will strengthen alliances and imagination.
- Care - supportive relationships - psychological resilience
Social transformation is not a sprint, but a long distance run. Facing critical challenges of our time, we might forget that our resources are limited and that we need to create effective and also sustainable structures. We start from the conviction that building a successful movement also depends on the relationships we form, how we nurture our own and collective well-being and safety, and how we can regenerate when confronting emotionally challenging issues. With a background in psychology, psychotherapy and informal forms of support, we want to develop conversations with both emerging and existing collectives that place care, mutual support and resilience at the centre.
We all feel the energy prices rising, so within the Energy for the people! Campaign we learned how to cheaply and effectively insulate old wooden windows. Together with the Limity jsme my! Climate movement we organised tens of solidarity insulations jobs in our homes, winter reception centres, allied culture centres and flat cooperatives.
